Hotel Frearl Izumi is a comfortable hot spring inn surrounded by trees.

The view overlooking the Hakusan National Park in the mountains is magnificent and offers a unique beauty that can only be experienced here.

The newly renovated facilities and rooms are clean and comfortable. High-speed Wi-Fi and well-selected amenities are also provided. We have a spacious hot spring bath with the fragrance of cypress, as well as a spacious restaurant with a view of Mt. Arashimadake, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. After your meal, please share your travel memories at the newly established bar counter that accompanies the renewal.

You can enjoy the kitchen, dining area, BBQ corner, and more in the cottages on the premises. Next to the hotel is the day trip hot spring "Heisei no Yu," where you can also enjoy open-air baths and saunas.

It is conveniently located a 15-minute walk from Echizen-Shimoyama Station and 7 km from Kuzuryu Ski Resort.

Ideal for climbers of Mount Arashimadake, one of Japan's 100 famous Mountains! Free Shuttle Service from Echizen-Shimoyama Station on the Etsumi‐Hoku Line to Katsuhara Trailhead (Pick-up only) started.

At Frearl Izumi, we have started offering free shuttle service for guests to Echizen-Shimoyama Station on the Etsumi-North Line.

From June 2, 2023, for guests staying until November 29, 2023:
Pick-up 1: Pick-up from Echizen-Shimoyama Station at 2:17 p.m. → Hotel
Pick-up 2: Pick-up from Echizen-Shimoyama Station at 6:23 a.m. → Hotel
Drop-off 3: Departure from the hotel at 5:40 a.m. → Echizen-Shimoyama Station at 5:45 a.m. → Katsuhara Trailhead at 6:00 a.m.

This is the perfect plan for climbing Mt. Arashimadake (of course, available for non-climbers as well). Along with the start of the shuttle service mentioned above, we have also introduced the following plans:
1 Night Dinner Plan (without breakfast): Starting from 12,250 yen
1 Night Dinner & Breakfast Bento Plan: Starting from 13,130 yen
(Shuttle service does not apply to Room-only plans)

In case of inclement weather, the Etsumi-North Line may suspend its service, and in such cases, shuttle service will not be available.

The rates provided are for one night's stay in a cottage. Additional charges apply for cottage usage.

Next to Hotel Frearl Izumi, we have "Heisei no Yu," a day-use hot springs facility boasting 100% natural spring water from a self-flowing source. It is one of the few alkaline simple hot springs in the country.
